Chelsea women football club has breached a shocking transfer negotiation in women football after signing for a whopping deal of $1 million.
Chelsea’s women board, recently completed the signing of Naomi Girma from San Diego in a mouth watering currency of $1 million as they look forward to continuing their unbeaten run so far.
In the line of the shocking transfer, it has surfaced to be the world record transfer in the history of women football.
She emerges as the most expensive women player of all time, holding the record of $1 million.
The 2024-year-old USA defender signed up a contract that will keep her in Chelsea until 2029.
Meanwhile, the transfer broke the £6850 transfer record fee set by Bay FC after signing Rachael in February. Also, Chelsea set the British transfer fee yet to be broken after signing Ramirez for £384k in January.
Girma emerged US Soccer player of the year after helping her side San Diego clinch the NWSL title.
Amid the excitement, Girma however, will not debut anytime soon as Chelsea’s coach has confirmed she is slightly injured.
